About us

Established in 2001, Translation Agency Magus is based in the Hermia technology centre in Tampere, Finland. Company owner Mirka Lahti is academically trained as a translator and possesses
15 years’ experience in the field.

Our customers include wood, metal and plastics industry operators, patent offices, cultural organisations, law and architects’ offices, advertising agencies and publishing houses. Magus is also a subcontractor to many Finnish and international translation agencies.

The company name, Magus, is Latin and means
wizard, magician or sorcerer.
